Lamashtu (from the Akkadian language Lamaštu) was a female demon in Mesopotamian religion. According to incantations against her, the oldest of which date from the Old Babylonian and Old Assyrian periods (the beginning of these periods being around 2,000 bce), her origin and appearance are as follows:
"For her wicked designs, her wrong counsel Anum, her father, from heaven cast her down to earth."
"Anu created her, Ea raised her, the face of a dog was given to her by Enlil".
It is important to note the truly Luciferian description of the creation of the demoness by the god and her being cast down to earth for her "unholy intentions".
According to ancient accounts, Lamashtu was a demon particularly dangerous to women in childbirth and postpartum, causing illness or death to infants and young children, and to nursing mothers.
To protect themselves from the evil power of Lamashtu, the inhabitants of ancient Mesopotamia created amulets against her, such as the
"Plaque des Enfers" from the Louvre collection, dating from the Neo-Assyrian period (934-612 BC).

This amulet depicts an exorcism ritual, during which exorcists attempt to chase demonesses from the world of the living into the world of the dead. (Yes, exorcisms were already known long before the appearance of the carpenter, the artificer from Nazareth).
Interestingly, the amulet also contains the figure of the demon Pazuzu, who was associated with Lamashtu. Pazuzu was considered the evil demon of the underworld. As the 'king of evil winds', he was accused of bringing seasonal droughts, plagues of locusts and famine. He was depicted as a winged creature with a human body, a dog's head and bird's feet. This figure, trying to get the demoness to leave for the underworld.
Pazuzu evidently had some sort of power over Lamashtu. Pazuzu's figurines placed in houses and pendants in the shape of his head hung around the necks of pregnant women were also supposed to protect them from the demoness. This is how things were in ancient times.
But many centuries later, a descendant of the slaves of proud Babylon appeared in a Roman colony and, after declaring himself the son of one of the Bronze Age desert deities, once again revealed his ignorance of ancient religions:
"Jesus, knowing their thoughts, said to them: 'Every kingdom, inwardly inclined, becomes empty. And no city or house, inwardly quarrelsome, will stand. If Satan casts out Satan, he himself is quarrelsome with himself; how then shall his kingdom stand?" Mt. 12:25-26
For some reason it did not occur to him that demons need not quarrel at all with each other, and even if they did, they are able to communicate and that they can also cooperate with each other, that their kingdom already existed thousands of years before his appearance and that it did not disintegrate either under the influence of some exorcism or through self-proclaimed village prophets.
The collection of writings that make up the Bible contains mostly naïve, Judeo-Christian, religious propaganda. Not only do their writings not contain the truth about ancient religion and philosophy, but they even include a description of the burning of ancient books by the early Christians, which apparently contradicted their vision of reality.
"Many believers also came, confessing and revealing their deeds. And many also of those who practised magic carried the books and burned them in front of everyone. Their value was calculated at fifty thousand denarii in silver. Thus mightily did the word of the Lord grow and strengthen itself". Acts 19:18-20
Yes, the word of the Lord always strengthens when ignorance increases. The power of the word of the Lord always comes from blind faith, never from knowledge.
